We have developed over the last 20 years our own calculation software called CARYBO. This tool is a consequence of all the study, experience and accumulated knowledge. CARYBO is specifically developed for the calculation and analysis of plastic behavior factory structures and based on the principles of Limit States or Jacques Heyman’s Theory.
Solutions based on the construction of vaulted structures with CEB blocks. We have collaborated and collaborate with different projects carrying out the calculations, designs and necessary training that allows the construction of structures carried out entirely or partially with compacted earth blocks.
CEB blocks constructed exclusively from raw earth and mechanical compression do not require any extra energy source to manufacture and the mortar necessary for gripping is made from the same earth as the blocks. For these reasons Vault Zafra develops a solution that provides the ability to build in any area of the planet with limited resources or that intends to implement this highly sustainable construction technique.
We work in the study and development of techniques that allow the use of light materials, such as cellular glass and wood particle boards, to build vaulted structures. These materials have a reduced cost and, due to their manufacture in plates, allow a cut in the form of small bricks. The blocks can be joined using lime mortar or plaster for the construction of the partitioned vaults.
Flexible tensor that is installed through the soffit of a simple arch, vault or dome attached to it discontinuously. The flexible tensioner in its initial position has zero load and when the arc is deformed, the flexible tensioner works. The first tests with models have been carried out on factory bridges as a solution to earthquakes.
