Vault Zafra through Taller de Bovedas we have participated in the exhibition Beyond the Structure organized by the studio Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) at the COAM in Madrid. The main element consisted in the calculation and construction of a timbrel vault of 5m x 5m and 3m in height. Built with bricks, its design the overturning and methods of using the form are incorporated to create a light and efficient structure. Collaboration and research between Vault Zafra and SOM.
