Originally there were two adjacent arches that shared a common stack, one of which is no longer there. The remaining riojan arch is found to have one healthy stack and the common stack is found to be damaged. The damaged common stack leaves a visible stump from disappeared arch and two inclined cracks. In the sketch of the arch the articulation cracks are clearly seen in the intrados as well as both sides of the extrados. Pieces of the keystone of the arch are also detaching.
Once the different analyses are completed, we were able to present a hypothesis of how the collapse was produced, a reproduction of the original bridge construction, and a treatment proposal with the goal of reinforcement and securing the existing elements.
