Main goal of this project is the structural evaluation and prescription for reconstruction for thriteen timbrel vaults with metallic edges in Codoniu Winery of Sant Sadurni d’Anoia (Barcelona). These vaults were lost in the June 30, 2011 fire.
The structural evaluation of the nineteen vaults concluded that thirteen are in grave risk of collapse beyond repair and so we propose their demolition. The remaining six vaults suffer pathologies that can be repaired. Vault Zafra calculated and designed the new vaults.
They are timbrel vaults that incorporate the original designs metal elements.
