In 2005 the dining room’s concrete slab situated in apartment number 6 at Santa Marina 24 collapsed. The slab sits over the apartment directly below which has resisted the impact. The vaulted slab that collapsed had damage prior to the reform work that was being carried out.
A conservation and continuation of the existing structural system intervention is proposed. Based on this proposal the action on the slab will be: Reconstruction of the collapsed slab with a new double curved vaulted slab.
