San Ildefonso Church

The dome of the San Ildefonso church was a false wood vault that suffered a severe termite attack to the point of collapse. Confronted by the impossibility of repair, it was reconstructed in brick.

The San Ildefonso parish dome to reconstruct has a circular base of 7.26 meters and a 2.40 meter keystone height from the spring line. It will be composed of three levels, the first of solid brick installed with plaster, and the other two with simple hollow brick installed with lime mortar, totaling a section of 14 cm.
